Preparations in Full Swing: EUSA European University Futsal Championship 2025 in Zagreb!
Zagreb is ready to welcome Europe’s best university futsal teams once again! From July 17th to 25th, 2025, the Croatian capital will proudly host the prestigious EUSA European University Futsal Championship, one of the most highly anticipated events on the European university sports calendar. Known for its intense competition and high levels of sportsmanship, this championship consistently showcases exceptional talent, passion, and teamwork from university teams across Europe.
Following the thrilling 2023 edition in Split, Croatia is honored to host the championship once more. Zagreb has a rich history with the event, previously hosting in 2010, marking the seventh edition of this premier competition. Now, in 2025, the city is preparing to make this 14th edition truly unforgettable. With 24 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams from all over Europe expected to compete, the event will take place in four iconic sports venues: Sports Hall Trešnjevka ("Kutija Šibica"), Basketball Center Dražen Petrović ("Cibona"), Sports Hall Sutinska Vrela, and Sports Hall Peščenica.
The EUSA European University Futsal Championship has grown into one of the most attractive and competitive events in European university sports. Teams will compete fiercely, representing the pride of their universities and countries, while delivering thrilling futsal action to spectators and fans alike. Organized by the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and the Zagreb Academic Sports Association (UniSport ZG), this year’s edition promises an atmosphere filled with excitement, sportsmanship, and a celebration of young athletic talent.
