Participating teams

The EUSA European University Futsal Championship 2025 will welcome some of the finest university futsal teams from across Europe to compete in Zagreb. This prestigious event will feature up to a total of 33 teams, representing a diverse mix of countries and universities, with up to 18 men’s teams and 15 women’s teams battling it out for the championship title. Below, you will find an overview of the competition structure and what to expect from the participating teams.

Men's Teams

The men’s futsal competition will feature up to 18 teams, divided into groups for the preliminary round. Each team will bring its unique style and strategy to the court, contributing to an exciting and unpredictable group phase, followed by intense knockout rounds. These teams represent some of the strongest futsal programs across European universities, showcasing the high level of skill, teamwork, and dedication present in the university sports system.

Women's Teams

The women's futsal tournament will include up to 15 teams, each demonstrating incredible talent, sportsmanship, and a passion for the game. Similar to the men’s tournament, the women’s teams will first compete in group stages, leading up to the knockout rounds where the best will advance. These teams are ready to demonstrate their prowess on the court and compete for the title of European University Champion.
