EUSA Futsal 2025 Presented at EUSA Convention and EUSA-FISU Seminar in Salerno
Representatives of the Organizing Committee of the EUSA European University Futsal Championship 2025 took part in the EUSA Convention and EUSA-FISU Seminar held in Salerno, Italy, from October 10th to 13th, 2024. During this major gathering of European university sports leaders, the Croatian delegation had the opportunity to present the upcoming championship in Zagreb to representatives of all European university sports federations, showcasing the progress of preparations and the exciting plans for the event.
On the recently held EUSA (European University Sports Association) Convention in Salerno, Zagreb was successfully presented as the host of the 14th edition of the European University Futsal Championship, which will take place in July 2025. This prestigious international competition will bring together the best futsal teams from European universities, with the University of Zagreb, as the host, positioning itself among the favorites for the title.
The presentation was met with enthusiasm by the convention participants, with EUSA Technical Delegate Andrej Fantej stating that we are looking forward to one of the best editions of the championship in history. The organizers are confident that an exceptionally exciting summer lies ahead, and futsal fans can look forward to top-quality sports performances in Zagreb.
The presentation highlighted the enthusiasm and dedication of the Organizing Committee in making Zagreb 2025 an unforgettable celebration of university futsal. Delegates from across Europe were provided with insights into the organization, the host venues, and the expected level of competition. The Croatian delegation emphasized the importance of collaboration, international spirit, and the opportunity to build upon Zagreb's past successes, which will ensure that the 2025 edition will be among the most memorable in EUSA history.
Later this year, at the end of November, an EUSA delegation will visit Zagreb to conduct a detailed inspection of all the facilities where the competitions will take place, after which the final confirmation of the overall plan and program is expected.
