Men's General technical meeting held ahead of tournament kick-off

Today, the General Technical Meeting (GTM) for the EUSA European Universities Futsal Championship 2025 – Men’s Tournament – was held at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb. The meeting gathered team delegates and officials ahead of the official kick-off of the competition.

The session was led by Milan Žvan, Chair of the EUSA Technical Commission, who welcomed all participants and emphasized the importance of fair play, integrity, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Eszter Gulyás, EUSA Sports Manager, gave an overview of EUSA’s mission, highlighting the educational and intercultural values of university sports.

Tomasz Aftański, the EUSA Technical Delegate, together with Assistant Technical Delegate Tihana Nemčić Bojić, conducted the official draw and presented the final match schedule, rules, and key competition procedures.

Marko Lepoglavec, representative of the Organizing Committee, extended a warm welcome on behalf of the hosts and provided practical information to help teams navigate the venues, accommodation, and local support services.

The first matches of the Men’s Tournament begin tomorrow, July 18, across four venues in Zagreb: Dražen Petrović, Kutija Šibica, Peščenica, and Sutinska Vrela.
