Are you passionate about futsal, event organization, sports media, or content creation? The European Universities Futsal Championship 2025 is coming to Zagreb from July 17-25 and we are looking for dedicated volunteers to help us deliver an unforgettable tournament!
This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, meet people from across Europe, and be part of an elite university sports event. Choose your role and play a key part in making this championship a success!

Volunteer Teams & Roles
1. EVENT TEAM
If you love organizing and managing events, this is the team for you! Your tasks will include:
- Accreditation process – assisting teams and staff upon arrival
- Opening & Closing Ceremonies – ensuring smooth execution of key event moments
- Medal Award Ceremonies – helping organize winners’ celebrations
- Side events & educational activities – assisting with workshops and networking events
2. SPORT TEAM
Passionate about sports organization? Help ensure smooth competition by:
- Preparing venues for matches – setting up equipment and ensuring everything runs on time
- Match commissioner role – assisting referees and officials during matches
- Managing live match statistics – updating results in real time
- Supporting teams during competition – providing assistance to teams and staff
3. MEDIA TEAM
Love storytelling and sports content? Join the Media Team and take part in:
- Filming and capturing tournament highlights
- Creating engaging video content & reels based on current trends
- Selecting the best photos for official social media and news articles
- Interviewing players & writing articles for the event website
Important Dates & Application Process
• April 10, 2025 – Application deadline
• April 14–17, 2025 – Online interview period
• April 24, 2025 – Confirmation of selected volunteers
• May 22, 2025 – Travel plans to be confirmed with the Organizing Committee
All selected volunteers will be invited for an online interview before final selection.

Arrival date: July 15, 2025 (exceptions possible for July 16–17 if traveling with a team)
Departure date: July 26, 2025 (early departures can be arranged if needed)
Transportation to Zagreb is at volunteers’ own cost.
